Property assessment rolls provide a summary of the inventory of immovables located on the territory of a municipality, which are assessed on the same basis and on the same date. In effect for three municipal fiscal years, property assessment rolls are first and foremost a major instrument for sharing the tax burden. This section presents the various elements of property assessment roll summaries, especially the number and value of immovables according to their use. Data are available by RCM, by administrative region and for all of Québec.
